Necklace Multicolor Resin Coil

Inspired by traditional African coil necklaces, this contemporary statement piece brings together vivid color, sculptural form, and handcrafted detail. Faceted resin beads in layered, translucent, and richly saturated hues are arranged along a modern black rubber cord, with brass disks adding warmth and movement.

Coil necklaces have long held ceremonial, social, and symbolic significance in many African cultures. Africalis reinterprets this tradition through bold color and modern materials, creating a necklace that feels both timeless and distinctly contemporary.

Each resin bead is poured by hand in individually created molds, allowing layers of color to form within the bead. The necklace is then assembled by hand. Variations in color, pattern, shape, and finish are part of the creative process, so no two necklaces are exactly alike.
