Shipping Information

Africalis Jewelry aims to deliver your order in perfect condition. Our items  are handmade from the pouring of resin to creation and assembly of beads.  Every aspect of production is carefully supervised. Each piece is made with love and we apply the same process to preparation for shipping and transport to you.

We perform a rigorous inspection before shipping from our office in Johannesburg South Africa or from our office in New York, USA. All wholesale purchases are shipped by courier direct to retailer and we undertake responsibility for them in transit until delivered to you. Shipping costs for wholesale are included in the wholesale pricing of our online products and shipping is complimentary all our online orders.  You will receive a tracking number for your package. We use DHL for shipping. They ship to over 220 countries globally. We ship to all these countries except Russia; Ukraine and India.

For Retail Customers, shipping is estimated at checkout and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Dispatch and deliver time

For Wholesale each order is prepared on receipt of order. For small orders we ship with a two week lead time. For large orders we ship within 45 days.  Shipping is usually faster than one week, barring any transit delays or custom holdups. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Shipping for retail is within 3 to 4 days.

Responsibility

We undertake full responsibility for each purchase from point of pick up; transit and delivery to the address specified on your order. From the point of receipt and release by courier to you (which requires a signature and title of recipient ), responsibility passes to you.

Duties and Taxes

For USA (presently) our products for wholesalers are duty free and tax free provided the total value is under $800. 

For other parts of the world you are responsible for applicable duties and taxes in your country.  DHL has its own custom clearing agent and we are kept informed throughout the shipping process of the passage of your order.  We are meticulous in our preparation of forms with necessary coding of each component of our product but we have no control over charges in relation to custom clearance.
